Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsrice
  2. 2medium size Sliced Onions
  3. 4medium size carrots
  4. 1 sachetcurry Masala
  5. Grinded tomato, red and scotch bonnet peppers
  6. 1/2 tspthyme
  7. 1/2 tbspcurry powder
  8. 1/2Ginger paste
  9. 1/2garlic paste
  10. Oil
  11. 1/2 tspPepper flakes
  12. Seasonings

Cooking Instructions

    Parboil your rice and set aside. Pour oil in a pot, add onion, garlic paste, grinded pepper mix and pepper flakes, cook for 5mins. Add curry powder, thyme, ginger paste,and stir.

    Add seasoning, curry masala and grated carrots, stir. Pour in the parboiled rice and mix thoroughly.

    Pour hot water and pinch of salt to adjust the taste. Allow to cook until tender. When it's done, remove from heat and serve.
