French toast

This is my first try at making french toast 😀 but wait! I think i got a big secret for a first timer. That secret is letting the bread slice sit out for some hours to dry up before use. This makes the bread stay intact when the time to soak in the mix comes and also allows the bread to really soak up a lot without breaking into bits. Also some mentioned to rub on butter before soaking the bread in the mix to solve same issue as well. But this taste great for a first timer 😀

Made With Frozen Bread! Easy and Fluffy French Toast Made With Frozen Bread! Easy and Fluffy French Toast
If you live alone, you end up with lots of extra frozen bread... So I was wondering what I could do to make it into a delicious dish, and ended up with this fluffy french toast.Piercing holes in the bread with a fork helps the flavors penetrate easily. Also, microwaving the bread allows it to soak up the egg liquid while thawing at the same time.If you are making it for 2, you can double the recipe. Or, you can increase the amount of milk and butter only!If you prefer to let the flavors soak into the bread even more, soak the bread at Step 3 for 5-20 minutes.Do not forget to flip the bread. French Toast French Toast
I had half a loaf of stale bread that I'd bought a week and a half ago before the lockdown began, so I did this to revive it. Without any other added ingredients it can be eaten savoury or sweet as one likes. The egg and milk in the proportions given seem to be almost exactly enough for six slices of sandwich bread. 蛟龍Stormwyrm -

French toast!! 🍞 French toast!! 🍞
That would be an American version of “TORRIJAS” in Spain!! I love them 😍.We used to make them only during Holy Week. However, nowadays, they are a typical dessert in almost every restaurant, all year!!Here it’s common to go out for breakfast at a “diner” on Saturdays or Sundays and order some, so I made them myself 😜!! The bread they usually use is brioche. In Spain, we typically use regular bread, although some restaurants are now starting to use brioche as well.My favorites are with Nutella and banana, but you can enjoy them with whatever you like best. Let’s do this!!#january2026 Chus Molinero -
Cinnamon Toast Crunch French Toast Cinnamon Toast Crunch French Toast
I was scrounging around and found a bag of Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Someone left a corner worth in the bag. Not enough to really have a bowl of cereal, but too much to throw away. I also had some cinnamon raisin bread, so I figured why not? Karl -
