Arhar Moong Masoor Dal Tadka Arhar Moong Masoor Dal Tadka
Dal is made in every home every day. Sometimes with a special tadka (tempering), sometimes with a simple one. Usually, when we make tadka, we heat oil or ghee, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, curry leaves, and other ingredients, but it doesn’t always have that restaurant-style flavor. Once, when I ordered dal from a restaurant, I noticed it didn’t have curry leaves. So, I tried making it without curry leaves. While it wasn’t exactly the same, it turned out very tasty. Since then, I often make it without curry leaves, though sometimes I do add them. Mrinalini SinhaTranslated from Cookpad India -

Mitha Dali Mitha Dali
#colouryellowMy mother some times cook Mitha Dali ("Sweet Dal"), since we all are not fond of dal so much therefore I always try to make different and innovative dishes based on dal. Today I have shared her recipe, wherein various ingredients such as ginger, cumin seeds, sugar, and ghee are used. You may alternatively add jaggery instead of sugar. This is my favourite dal, and we all love this dal very much. Sushree Satapathy -

Tiffin Sambar: Tiffin Sambar:
Tiffin usually depicts south Indian breakfast. Normally Idli, Dosa, Pongal. This particular sambar is very good combination with Idlies or dosas as well as goes very well with mini idlies which normally known or served as 14 idlies, mini idlies or button idlies at restaurants. In this sambar, we don’t use any coconut and basically a seasoned mixed dhal with sambar powder as well as baby onions, tomatoes and with or without drumstick pieces.#reststyle#goldenapron 16th recipe Date: 19th June 2019 Shrikripa -
Lasooni dal | Lehsuni dal | Dal lasooni | Garlic dal tadka Lasooni dal | Lehsuni dal | Dal lasooni | Garlic dal tadka
Lasooni dal |Lehsuni dal | Dal lasooni | Garlic dal tadka is a very versatile dal in terms of the lentil that can be used in it. One can choose to use toor dal, moong dal or masoor dal. There are multiple ways to make this dal, each one a little bit varied than the other. Only thing constant in this is the seasoning of garlic!.Today morning while making lunch for hubby, I wanted to make a dal to go with steamed rice and realised that there was only one sad looking tomato left in the basket which wouldn't be sufficient. So, this lasooni dal was perfect because it doesn't require a whole lot of ingredients and adds a delicious variation to the everyday dal..Sharing here a quick and easy recipe for dal lasooni.
