Ingredients

  1. 1 cupbesan
  2. 2.5 cupsbuttermilk
  3. 2 tspsalt
  4. Half teaspoonturmeric powder
  5. For Tadka
  6. 1 tspoil
  7. 1/4 teaspoonmustard seeds
  8. 2 piecefried chilli green chilli
  9. 1 tspcoriander
  10. 1 tspgrated coconut

    Take a besan in a saucepan. Add buttermilk salt asafoetida and turmeric powder.mix well. Till looks smooth. No lumps found.

    Now cook. On slow flame. stir continuously till batter looks thick. approx.5-7 mins.

    Take a spoon and stand on the batter to check consistency to spread on a thali.

    Now spread the batter on a thali on both sides with a spatula. leave it for 4-5 min. make cut marks and roll. Get a fine thin roll.

    Arrange khandvi rolls on a plate.

    For tadka- Heat oil tempered mustard seeds and pour on khandvi rolls. Garnish with chopped coriander and fresh grated coconut. sprinkle red chili powder.

    Tasty healthy authentic khandvi is ready to serve. Serve with fried chili.
