Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 1 cupcooked rice
  2. 2 tbspcarrot (grated)
  3. 1potato (boiled & mashed)
  4. 1onion(finely chopped)
  5. 1/2 tspginger paste
  6. 1/2 tspkashmiri red chilli powder
  7. ¼ tsp garam masala
  8. 1/4 tspcumin powder
  9. ¾ tsp salt
  10. 2 tbspcoriander (finely chopped)
  11. 1 tsp lemon juice
  12. 2 tbspgram flour
  13. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  14. 1green chilli (chopped)

Cooking Instructions

    Firstly, in a bowl take 1 cup cooked rice and mash smooth.

    Add 1 boiled and mashed potato. pressure cook potatoes for 3 whistles adding little salt.

    Also add 2 tbsp carrot, 1 onion finely chopped, coriander finely chopped.

    Further add ½ tsp ginger paste, ½ tsp chilli powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder,¼ tsp garam masala, ¼ tsp cumin powder, ¾ tsp salt, and 1 tsp lemon juice.

    Now add 2 tbsp gram flour and mix well.

    Squeeze and mix until a soft dough is formed.

    Grease hands with oil and pinch a small ball sized cutlet mixture and shape to round.

    Now take a pan,apply oil on it.
    Place cutlet on pan.crisp from both sides. until it turns golden brown and crisp.

    Finally, enjoy rice cutlet with tomato sauce and green chutney.
