Ingredients

1 hour
4 servings
  1. 1 cupsooji
  2. 1/2 cupdesi ghee (you can add or reduce it),
  3. 1 cupsugar
  4. Somechopped badam & kaju
  5. 1/2 tspElaichi powder
  6. 3 cupswater

Cooking Instructions

    Take a wok or pan, add sooji, dry roast it for 2 minutes.

    Take out in a bowl, add ghee in the same wok or pan, heat it.

  3. 3

    Lower the flame, add sooji, stir fry it until light brown. Keep stirring it.

    Take another pan, add water, sugar & Elaichi powder, mix it well. Boil it until sugar melts. Turn off the, keep aside.

    Now add the sugar syrup in the sooji, keep stirring.

  6. 6

    Cover it with the lid for 2 minutes. Open the lid now, stir it till water has dried up.

  7. 7

    Turn off the flame, take out in a serving bowl.

  8. 8

    Garnish it with chopped dry fruits.
