Chicken and prawn curry

Ingredients

45 minutes
5 to 8 people
  1. 1 boxArgentina prawns
  2. 500 gchicken fillet cut into cubes
  3. 100 mloil
  4. 50 gfinely chopped onions
  5. 1bay leave
  6. 50 gkashmiri masala
  7. 10 gkashmiri chillie powder
  8. 10 gjeera powder
  9. 20 gturmeric powder
  10. 300 mlgrated tomatoes
  11. 40 gnibbed garlic
  12. Salt to taste

Cooking Instructions

    In a pot add the oil,onions and bay leaf and sauté for 1 minute

  2. 2

    Next add the garlic and give a quick stir

  3. 3

    Next add all the dry spices and mix well

  4. 4

    Drop in the grated tomatoes and mix well

  5. 5

    Next add the chicken and add desired amount of salt for taste and simmer on low heat for about 8 minutes

  6. 6

    Drop in the cleaned prawns and cook for a further 5 minutes

  7. 7

    Once done, garnish with coriander/dhania and serve with hot rice or roti

  8. 8
