K-drama “Woo Young-woo” inspired Korean Kimbap

Anyone watching Netflix K-drama, “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”? 😆 It’s my favorite one in this season and Young-woo(main character’s name) eating Kimbap really made me want to eat it too!
Since my husband just came back to Bristol after 1 month today, I decided to make it! He told me that his mother used to make Kimbap for breakfast during his childhood and it’s always his favourite.
Kimbap has really great nutrition balances. We can have 5 major nutrients which are carbohydrates(rice), vitamins(carrot, spinach), protein(pork, egg), minerals(seaweed, spinach) and fat(sesame oil).
We need to prepare lots of ingredients before we can start rolling Kimbap. However, all the ingredients for the Kimpab can be eaten or used in other dishes too, so I recommend you to make all of these in slightly bigger portion.

Cooking Instructions
- 1
【❶ Korean style flavored minced pork】Place mined pork in a bowl and add all the ingredients with ☆ mark. Mix well with your hand. Heat some sesame oil in a pan, add grated garlic and stir fry meat until it’s well cooked!
- 2
※ Start cooking rice.
- 3
【❷ Carrot Namul】Cut carrots into strips. Boil plenty of water in a pot, add some salt and cook carrots. Drain the water and mix with sesame oil, Dashida stock, salt and sesame seeds.
- 4
【❸ Spinach Namul 】Boil plenty of water in a pot, add some salt and cook spinach for 1 minute. Drain water and cool it down in the cold water. Squeeze water and mix with sesame oil, dashida powder, sesame seeds.
- 5
【❹ Egg omelet】Beat eggs, add a pinch of salt. Heat oil in a hot pan, cook egg until both sides are cooked. Cut into strips.
- 6
【❺ Korean yellow pickled radish 】Cut the radish into strips like the photo below.
- 7
【❻ Kimchi】Cut kimchi in small pieces. I used scissors to cut.
- 8
【❼ Rice】Add sesame oil with cooked rice and mix well.
- 9
Now all the ingredients are ready!!
- 10
Place a seaweed nori on a sushi rolling mat. Apply rice on 3/4 of the seaweed like in the photo below. Make sure the amont of rice are evenly placed. Add all the ingredients in the middle and have some spaces on top and bottom.
- 11
Roll from downside and make sure all the ingredients are kept inside. The bottom edge of the seaweed will stick on the top line of the rice, which avoids Kimpab to fall apart. Tightly roll and hold with using the sushi mat.
- 12
Cut the Kimpab roll with wet and clean knife. Tip is to clean the knife every time you cut, with a wet kitchen paper. Make sure the height of the Kimpab will be the same.
- 13
Sprinkle some sesame seeds and ready to enjoy!

Chocolate 🍫 Covered Panipuri (Recipe in English) Chocolate 🍫 Covered Panipuri (Recipe in English)
Can we survive without eating Golgappa/Panipuri?The answer to this question is always “NO”for both me and my daughter 🥰😘We can live without anything, but can’t live without our Panipuri...😉😊Made lots of Puris the other day, so now it’s time for the yummy treat...My daughter loves Chocolate, so I tried making Chocolate covered Puris for her. It’s like a dream came true!!! My daughter was very happy. She got to enjoy both the chocolate and panipuri in one plate😘🥰😊Pani Puri’s Puri covered in chocolate. A chocolate lovers dream. 😋For our sweet Chocolate 🍫covered Panipuri I made 2 different kind of fillings. We used cold Coffee with vanilla ice-cream( store-bought) & Rabdi with Carrot 🥕 Halva. They tasted so amazing...The process is very easy just make a small hole in the puri and cove it with melted chocolate. We have to keep that in the refrigerator for at least 1hour to set. Once it’s set you can have your chocolate 🍫 covered Panipuri 😋😋😍🍫🥰#WCD#cookpad#cookpadindia#chocolate#panipuri Suchi Shah -
Tofu and Crispy Jako Fish Salad Tofu and Crispy Jako Fish Salad
Before our daughter was born, there was a yakitori place we often went to. We always ordered this salad. I thought I could make this at home so I gave it a shot. My husband was really happy. You might think this is a lot for 2, but trust me you'll gobble it up. You can use spinach or mizuna! For the lettuce, you can use regular lettuce. Green leaves give this a beautiful appearance, but I just use whatever I have at home. The seaweed wilts over time so you should add it just before eating with the dressing. Stupid Simple Marinated Chickpeas Stupid Simple Marinated Chickpeas
It’s WAY too hot to cook - and I’m hungry. This is something I came up with years ago - no cooking and not complicated, just assembly. It’s a great go-to for lunch, or you can scale it up easily for a side dish at a picnic or barbecue. You can make this a day or two in advance - and it can sit at room temperature for a couple of hours. Use your favorite firm legumes and add other veggies as you like - it’s your party, darlin’!This serves me - scale it up/down for you and yours.Sorry for the messy bowl - I didn’t feel like plating and garnishing. i am eating -

Bibimbap Noodles With Vegetable Namul and All-Purpose Korean Sauce Bibimbap Noodles With Vegetable Namul and All-Purpose Korean Sauce
I attempted to make a salty-sweet and sour sauce...and came up with this seasoning. The ingredient amounts are easy to remember; the sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, and ground sesame seeds amounts are all the same. Since you can store it in the refrigerator, not only can you use it with cold noodles, you can add it to other ingredients as-is or saute it for various Korean type dishes. I topped this dish with lots of vegetables and changed the rice to cold noodles.Since the bean sprouts contain a lot of moisture, if you coat the ingredients with sesame oil first, they won't get too mushy. The namul can be stored in the fridge for 2-3 days, so I made a larger amount without wasting ingredients. I used moderately sweet gochujang "Haechandle," as shown in the photo in Step 1. Vegetable-Packed Soup With Soy Milk Vegetable-Packed Soup With Soy Milk
Since I was chosen to try out Ajinomoto's new consommé products I decided to make a slightly sweet soup with soy milk. The ground toasted sesame seeds make this recipe stand out. If they're used in conjunction with the soy milk, they produce a nice, full flavor.Since this soup is prepared the night before, the root vegetables will become soft and tender and the consommé will give the soup a rich taste.Spinach tends to change color once cooked so this should be prepared in the morning.
