Ingredients

45 mins
2 cakes
  1. 2 tablespoonlemon zest
  2. 1 tablespoonlemon juice
  3. 200 gunsalted butter
  4. 200 gsugar
  5. 120 gflour
  6. 150 galmond powder
  7. 1 teaspoonbaking powder
  8. Lemon sugar icing
  9. 100 gpowdered sugar
  10. 3 tablespoonlemon juice
  11. 1 tablespoonlemon zest

Cooking Instructions

    Grate and squeeze lemon to make lemon zest and lemon juice.

    Separate egg yolk and white. Whip egg white with 1 tablespoon sugar.

    Mix sugar and room temperature butter. Add egg yolk.

  4. 4

    Mix lemon juice, zest and drying ingredients and whipped egg white.

    Bake cake batter in 180℃ preheated oven for 45 minutes until good color.

    Make lemon sugar icing. Just mixing all well.

  7. 7

    When the cake has cooled, pour sugar icing on the top.

    Wrap the cake with film and stay for a day.
