Ingredients

  1. 2and 1/2cups flour
  2. 1and 1/4 cup sugar
  3. 2 teaspoonsbaking powder
  4. 1 teaspoonbaking soda
  5. 1teaspon cinnamon
  6. 1/2 teaspoonnutmeg
  7. 1/4 teaspoonfine salt
  8. 1and 1/2 cup cooking oil
  9. 4eggs
  10. 3medium carrots
  11. 2 teaspoonvanilla essence

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 176°,layer 2 baking sheets into 9 inch cake tins and greese

    Sieve flour, baking powder, baking soda,salt, nutmeg and cinnamon and combine using a wooden spoon or whisk.

    Pour dry into the wet ingredient,small amount at a time and all the flour mixture is incorporated into the wet ingredients

    In a separate bowl mix,eggs, cooking oil,sugar and vanilla..beat until well combined

    Mix in the raisins and combine with a whisk

    Lastly add in the carrots and combine

    Pour batter into prepared cake tins and put into the oven,bake for 30-35 mins until inserted skewer comes out clean.remove it from the oven scrap the sides and put in a cooling rack, allow it to cool and hurray 👍🏽..
