Cooking Instructions

Wash tomatoes, remove stem and quarter.

Place tomatoes, V8 juice, basil, onion, garlic, and Italian seasoning in stockpot over medium heat and simmer for 30 minutes.

Process through a food mill. Place in crock pot and set on low.

Slowly add cream and then butter.

Season with salt and pepper.

Let simmer on low for 1 1/2-2 hours or until the soup has thickened. Do not boil.

Garnish with croutons and cheese.
