Greek Souvlaki & Tzatziki Sauce Greek Souvlaki & Tzatziki Sauce
This is my version of a recipe I saw on a cooking show in Canada. The word for "eatery" in Greek is "taverna." This sounds like "taberuna," in Japanese, which means "don't eat," so, it's an eating establishment where you can't eat? There are lots of "taverna" in Vancouver and they are very popular.Tzatziki is a versatile sauce that can be used for both meat and salad. Put chicken and salad topped with tzatziki in pita bread for a pita sandwich. I'm in love with this sauce. Recipe by LazyHata cookpad.japan -

Greek Tartar Dip Greek Tartar Dip
I like to oven bake Calamari, it gives it a much lighter taste than frying. But Calamari needs to have a dip to enjoy the taste. Some prefer just to add lemon juice which I also enjoy but I wanted something different, so I made this tasty Tartar dip. I have not added any onions or garlic because the taste of the dip just disappears with the intensity of the garlic and added onion. 🙂 Simple to make and great to eat!!! 🙂 Foodzesty -
Green Olive Veggie Dip/Spread Green Olive Veggie Dip/Spread
So this is pretty much an olive cheese ball. It's just one of those things I've always had since childhood. I remember my mom making it with sliced olives, but I like chopped better because I think it distributes the flavors more evenly. StephieCanCook -

Chicken Souvlaki or Chicken Gyro? Chicken Souvlaki or Chicken Gyro?
Saturday night and the usual question comes up... 'What are we going to eat?' ... 'I want souvlaki, should we order some?' 'No! We're not ordering, plus the prices have gone way up, and the local place uses so much oil it leaves everything greasy!' So, the chicken that was meant for pilaf turned into two delicious dishes instead! Kat-IzzyTranslated from Cookpad Greece
