Texas Chili Texas Chili
Texas-style chili doesn't include beans; it's all meat and spicier than other American chili recipes. It's served with crispy corn chips and topped with sliced red onions, sour cream, chopped green onions, and cheddar cheese. It's very delicious. This recipe is even better than the one I posted before. The secret to this recipe is adding strong black coffee, which gives it a hidden depth of flavor and aroma. If you can get Texas chili powder, that's even better because the taste and aroma are different from Thai chili powder. But since it's hard to find in Thailand, I just use regular chili powder. สิทธิพงศ์Translated from Cookpad Thailand -

Cool & Creamy Texas Green Dip Cool & Creamy Texas Green Dip
People rave about this, really! Here in Texas, the tex-mex restaurants will sometimes serve a green sauce along side the red sauce. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's great, but sometimes, not so good. I started down a road to create a really good one. So I started modifying recipes until I hit on this combination. My youngest daughter, who doesn't like avocados, chilies or cilantro, loved this dip, Go figure. I always have to make a double batch when she is here. Not too difficult to make, with a food processor, but a blender or even mortar would work. This is easy enough to adjust to your taste. The garlic can add a bite to it so adjust as you like. You can use bell peppers, no need for heat, add mild chillies instead of the jalapenos. Not spicy enough, use hotter peppers. I would even guess flat leaf parsley could be subbed for the cilantro if fresh cilantro is not available in your area. Fo Fa -

Mike's, "Not So Texas," Spicy Chili Mike's, "Not So Texas," Spicy Chili
Everyone knows true Texas Chili doesn't include beans or tomatoes. Only beef, homemade chile paste and few flavorings.Well, nuts to that! There's nothing I hate more than someone telling me what I should or shouldn't do in my own kitchen. This is precisely why I don't bake. There's just way too many rules going on in it for me. With that, I allow my students crazy little imaginations to literally run amok with their ingredients of choice. Today they did exactly that. Excellent work kiddos! You do make me proud! MMOBRIEN
