    Core cabbage, quarter & wash. Peel & slice onion. Slice smoked sausage.

    Brown smoked sausage in large skillet adding the onion just before sausage is done browning. Add the cabbage & spices. Simmer over medium heat stiring often. Cabbage will begin to soften & shrink. Cook cabbage to desired consistancy. ie.. firm or soft. Serve.
