Lemon Cake with Chocolate drips

Today at the cookout we wanted to replicate a cake but we lacked dessicated coconut so we had to do without. Then we had to improvise the decoration because we couldn't wait for the cake to cool😂🤣which Roopal came in handy with an idea of decorating the cake using chocolate. It was such a good idea.
Cooking Instructions

Prepare baking tin by greasing it, measure your ingredients and pre heat oven.

Add sugar to the margarine and cream till pale.

Add 3eggs and continue whisking or use a hand mixer.

Add lemon essence, lemon rind and lemon juice and mix
- 5
Add the flour bit by bit as you fold in.

Bake at 170degrees for 40mins. After which use a skewryto test when already baked.

Melt the chocolate by hot bathing then spread on top of the cooled cake. Spread in such a way that it drops down. Thanks Roopal for this idea
