A traditional Sinhalese Dish
Cara Memasak

Boil 700ml water with panda leaves.

Wash rice well and cook rice with the boiled panda leaves (700ml water)

When quarter (1/4) cooked throw the water and boil the quarter cooked rice with 300grams of coconut milk on slow fire.

Add salt to taste.

When rice almost cooked and milk absorbed, add in the balance of the milk and cook on slow fire steering all the time when soft and all the milk is absorbed. When cooled down, dish out on a flat plate.

Cut into square or diamond shape. Serve with sugar or coconut sambal. Takes one and half hours to cook.
