Dairy free rice pudding

The quickest way, I use to make rice pudding. It can be served hot or cold, depending how you like it. I love it when it's properly chilled and topped with a fruit compote. I topped my with a ready made mixed berries compote which I bought from Tesco. Again the consistency depends on your preference, I like mine to be not very runny or not very thick, just medium, so you can add or reduce the quantity of milk. I sometimes end up adding extra milk.

Rice Pudding in a Pressure Cooker Rice Pudding in a Pressure Cooker
I love rice pudding—the aroma of orange and cinnamon makes my mouth water! I had heard that rice doesn't cook well with milk using the traditional stovetop method, and that milk often spills over in a pressure cooker. So I decided to give it a try, and surprise! It turned out delicious with no spills. Enjoy it! Como cocinar FácilTranslated from Cookpad Mexico -

Knefe / knafe with rice pudding filling Knefe / knafe with rice pudding filling
This is my family's favorite recipe, I get asked to make it quite frequently. One thing I've learned from my grandmother is using great quality bases ( oil, butter, cream etc...) in this recipe butter has to be really good even though it's not a big part of the flavor, good quality butter (new Zealand or clarified butter) makes the recipe from tasting good to make you palate touch the clouds and gives the rare happy feeling only exquisite food can give. It can also be done with unsalted shredded mozzarella instead of the rice pudding filling. bluepixelsz -
The World's Best Rice Pudding The World's Best Rice Pudding
I love rice pudding!! I found a recipe that is very close to my favorite store brand and refined it to what I am sharing with you now. You can thank me by marking this recipe as a favorite and making it often, and you will once your family and friends get a taste of it. I'm NOT a fan of raisins in rice pudding. In fact, I don't believe they belong in rice pudding. I included them in this recipe for those of you that are on #TeamRaisin. Enjoy and share your opinion (of the recipe, not the raisin controversy). I'd like to know how it turns out!! DaniB -

Greek Rice Pudding (Rizogalo) Greek Rice Pudding (Rizogalo)
This dessert is my favorite, my mother used to make this for me all the time growing up and she still does sometimes. The reason why this is my favorite is because Milk is involved and not Chocolate. Truth be told, I am not really a chocolate fan, 🙂 The only chocolate I mean Chocolate bar I would eat per say is maybe a Snickers bar and that’s about it. I don’t even drink Coke Cola, I prefer the 7 up and Sprite soft drinks once in a while, but much more the homemade Lemonade. So, you can see why I love this dessert, no chocolate involved. Sorry, chocolate lovers….Rizogalo which is pronounced (Ri-zo-ga-lo) 🙂 is a thick , creamy and healthy dessert, that can be eaten anytime of the day. It is made rather quickly, but just note that much stirring is involved to get that creamy base. The rice is the major factor, others choose to use long grain rice, but I prefer the shorter version it all depends on what kind of rice you like to eat. Simple dessert, with a great taste. I hope you enjoy it!! Foodzesty -
