Organic Dark Chocolate Fudge Brownies

I love brownies and I’ve played around with this recipe until I landed on something I liked! These are not too sweet, not too dense and deliciously chocolatey. I added walnuts and chopped peanuts to my batter, because I love the texture of them against the smooth chocolate. I hope you enjoy this recipe! Organic Dark Chocolate Fudge Brownies

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and line a square 9x13 inch pan with parchment paper or grease with butter. In a medium bowl, whisk the flour, cocoa and salt, and set aside. In a separate bowl, melt the chocolate chips and then add the butter and mix until combined.

Transfer the butter chocolate mixture into a large bowl and whisk in the sugar until combined. Add eggs one at a time, whisking until they are incorporated and then stir in the vanilla extract. Add the flour mixture to the wet mixture. Fold until combined, don't over mix!

Add in most of the chopped walnuts and peanuts, but save some to sprinkle on the top. Pour batter into baking pan and sprinkle remaining chopped walnuts and peanuts on top.

Bake the brownies at 350 degrees for 35-40 mins. The longer you cook them, the more cakey they become. You can always insert a tooth pick into the centre and if it comes out clean it’s done.
