Marinade the beef with the crushed dry masala with garlic and ginger paste for 30 mins.

Heat oil in a pan, fry the chopped onions along with bay leaves and big black cardamon. When onions are little brown add little water then start adding turmeric powder, chilli powder, cumin powder, and nut meg and mace paste. Property fry this masala for 3 to 4 mins and then add the tomato puree and celery seed paste. When oil separates from the masala add the marinated beef.

Cook the beef properly with closed lid for 30 mins in medium heat then add salt to taste. After 30 mins uncover the lid and cook further for 20 to 25 mins in low medium heat.

Check the tenderness of the beef and then remove it from the stove. The beef is ready to serve with hot steaming rice.
