Ingredients

  1. 1/2 bowlmoong dal
  2. 1green onion chopped
  3. 1green chilli chopped
  4. Few Coriander leaves chopped
  5. to tasteSalt
  6. 1/3 spoonblack pepper powder
  7. Pinchred chilli powder
  8. As neededWater

Cooking Instructions

    Soak the dal overnight and grind it in a mixer in the morning. In it add chopped green onions, green chilli, and coriander leaves. Add the salt, pepper and chilli powder to it and mix well. Add water if required to make the chilla batter.

    Heat up a tawa and spread some batter on it. Cook it evenly from both side for 2 minutes each side. Add oil or avoid if you are using non-stick tawa. Chilla is ready, enjoy it in breakfast or have it as an evening snack with pickle and tea.
