Ingredients

  1. 250 gramsMutton Pieces
  2. 1Big Chopped Onion
  3. 3Chopped Green Chillies
  4. 1 tspGinger garlic paste
  5. 2 CupsThin Coconut Milk
  6. 1 CupThick Coconut Milk
  7. 1 tbspCoconut Oil
  8. to tasteSalt
  9. Whole Spices
  10. 1 tbspCumin Seeds
  11. 1Bay Leaf
  12. 1Cinnamon stick
  13. 4cloves
  14. 3Cardamoms

Cooking Instructions

    Heat a tbsp of oil in a Pressure Cooker, add all the Whole Spices mentioned above and saute for a minute.

    Add the Chopped Onions, Green Chillies and Ginger Garlic paste. Saute for 3minutes.

    Then add the Mutton Pieces, salt and saute for a minute.

    Pour the 2Cups of thin Coconut milk and Mix well. Close the Pressure Cooker and cook for 5 whistles.

    After 5whistles, the Mutton Pieces has cooked soft.

    Pour the cup of thick Coconut Milk, mix well. Check for salt. Keep the flame low and let it one boil and turn off the stove.

    Sprinkle some chopped Coriander Leaves. Transfer to a serving bowl.

    Mutton Stew is Ready to serve. Enjoy with Hot Appam and IIdyappam's.
