Ingredients

  1. 500gm prawns (cut the back & remove the dirt)
  2. 1 cup corn flour
  3. 1 tsp salt
  4. 1 tsp sugar
  5. 5 salted egg yolk (steamed & mashed)
  6. As neededVegetable Oil
  7. Seasoning
  8. 2 tbsp butter
  9. 1 tbsp oil
  10. 1tbsp chopped garlic
  11. 4 sliced birds eye chillies
  12. 2 stalkscurry leaves
  13. 1 tsp chicken stock granules
  14. As per tasteSalt

Cooking Instructions

    Marinate the cleaned prawns with salt & sugar & Place the corn flour in a bowl and toss in the marinated prawns, shake off excess flour.

    Heat oil in a wok.
    Deep fry the prawns over high heat until just cooked, drain of excess oil and set aside.

    In another wok put the oil & butter add in the garlic, chillies & curry leaves & mix add in the mashed egg yolk & keep stirring until well combine & bubbles form. Add in the chicken granuals n stir.

    Add in the prawns and stir gently so that they are thoroughly coated with the paste. Remove from heat and serve.
