All-time favorite sweet Indian dessert Kheer with creamy thick milk, the flavour of cardamom, and crunchiness of dry fruits give a very nice Taste.

Ingredients

45 minutes
4-5 people
  1. 1 litre Full Cream Milk
  2. 1/2 cup soaked Rice
  3. 1 cupSugar
  4. 1/4 tspCardamom Powder
  5. 1/2 cupchopped Dry Fruits
  6. 1 Mango Pulp
  7. for Garnishing
  8. 1/2 cup chopped Mangoes
  9. 1/4 cupdry fruits

Cooking Instructions

45 minutes

    Add 1 litre of full cream milk in thick bottom container and bring it to boil.

  2. 2

    In Boiling milk, add 1 small cup of soaked rice and cook the rice in milk till become soft and puffy on low flame.

    In between cooking stir the kheer and add 1 cup of sugar and cook it till becoming nice thick and rice and milk mix very well.

    Cook Kheer slowly on low flame for best results.

    After kheer becomes thick add 1/4 tbs. cardamom powder and 1/2 cup chopped dry fruits. Mix it very well and cook for another few mins. till becoming thicker.

    Kheer is almost done now add 1 small whole mango pulp (Low flame) and mix it very well.

    Your Mango Kheer is done garnish with some chopped mangoes and chopped dry fruits.
