Ingredients

  1. 200 gmPaneer
  2. 1/2 bowlfresh cream
  3. For boiling tomatoes :
  4. 4tomatoes
  5. 1cinnamon stick
  6. 4Green cardamom
  7. 4cloves
  8. 15cashew nuts
  9. 1/2 bowlwater
  10. For making gravy :
  11. 1 tbspoon cooking oil
  12. 1onion
  13. 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  14. as per tasteSalt
  15. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  16. 1/2 tspcoriander seeds powder
  17. 1/2 tspgaram masala
  18. 1/2 tspsugar
  19. 1 tbspkasuri methi
  20. 1/2 bowlwater

Cooking Instructions

    Collect all the ingredients for boiling tomatoes and transfer it in a pressure cooker. Add water. Pressure cook till 4 whistle and then switch off the flame and let it come to room temperature.

    When at room temperature transfer it in a mixer and grind to make a paste.

    Heat cooking oil in a wok. Add cumin seeds and when cumin seeds splutter put finely chopped onions and fry till translucent. Now add ginger and garlic paste and saute till pink.

    Cut 150 gm paneer in cubes. Grate remaining paneer and keep aside.

    When onions turns pinkish add grinded puree. Stir on low flame. Add red chilli powder, salt and turmeric powder and mix well.

    When oil leaves the sides of wok add crushed kasuri methi. Cook for 2 minutes. Now Add 1/2 bowl of water and let it come to boil.

    Once bubbles start coming add garam masala and mix. Add paneer cubes and half of the grated paneer. Stir and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add

    Now garnish it with cream and some grated paneer. Serve hot with chapatti, parantha or puri.
