Ingredients

50 minutes
4 servings
  1. 2 cupmaida, sieved,
  2. 1.5 cuppowdered brown sugar, sieved,
  3. 1/2 cuppowdered sugar, sieved,
  4. 4eggs,
  5. 1 cupoil,
  6. 1/2 cupmilk,
  7. 1.5 tspbaking powder,
  8. 1/2 tspbaking soda,
  9. 1.5 cupgrated carrot, ,
  10. 1/2 tspcinnamon powder,
  11. 1/4 tspnutmeg powder,
  12. Pinchsalt,
  13. 1 tspVanilla essence,
  14. as requiredFew nuts (kaju, badam, kishmish),

Cooking Instructions

50 minutes
  1. 1

    Take a mixing bowl, add sugar. Now add maida, mix it well. Add baking powder & soda, mix it well.

    In goes eggs, mix it well. Add oil, mix well. Add milk now, mix it nicely.

  3. 3

    In goes cinnamon powder & nutmeg powder, mix it well.

  4. 4

    Add carrot 🥕 now, mix it well, in goes salt & vanilla essence. Mix it nicely for a minute.

  5. 5

    Grease the cake tin, dust it with lil maida or line it with the butter paper. Transfer the cake mix into it, tap it. Add nuts now.

  6. 6

    Pre heat the oven at 180 degree centigrade. Bake it for 25 minutes.

  7. 7

    Check it by inserting a knife. If cake sticks to the walls of knife. It requires more cooking for 3 min.

  8. 8

    Turn off the oven, take out the cake, allow it to cool down.

  9. 9

    Cut the cake into your desired shape, drizzle chocolate syrup onto it.

  10. 10

    It is always good to sieve all the powdered ingredients...
