French Toast
A classic tea time snack is ……. French Toast.
Cooking Instructions

Assemble all ingredients, break eggs, add milk and mix well.

Add salt + chili powder and whisk very well.

In the pan add butter, keep flame low and allow butter to melt, dip the bread slice in the egg mixture for few seconds (both sides) and transfer to the pan. Immediately dip another bread slice and place it upon the bread slice which is already in the pan.

Shallow fry/toast both sides till golden brown, fry the sides also.

Fry in low flame, it takes around 2-3 minutes. Follow the same process with the rest of the slices.

Toast is done.

Serve with tea/coffee and enjoy this lovely French toast.

My father used to make French toast all the time. As I grew up I wanted to make it. So through trial and error I came up with this recipe. My father's used to be a little soggy, but mine is not. This is sure to be a quick, and easy meal. Cinnamon is optional, so is syrup.
