Ingredients

  1. 2 tbspghee
  2. 50 gmsfine vermicelli
  3. 2 tbspalmonds (blanched and chopped)
  4. 2 tbspcashews (chopped)
  5. 2 tbspchironji (blanched)
  6. 2 tbsppistachios (blanched and chopped)
  7. 2 tbspraisins
  8. 5 cupsmilk
  9. 1/4 cupsugar
  10. 1/4 tspcardamom powder
  11. 1 tspkewra water

Cooking Instructions

    Firstly, add one tbsp of ghee and fry vermicelli. Roast it on low flame till it turns golden brown nnd fragrant. Keep aside.

    In another large kadai heat 1 tbsp ghee, add almonds, cashews, chironji, pistachios. Fry on low flame. Keep aside.

    Now add milk and boil it. Stir occasionally to prevent the milk from burning. Add roasted nuts and mix well.

    Lower the flame and simmer for 15 minutes or till the milk thickens.

    Add roasted vermicelli and sugar. Stir it.

    Now add cardamom powder and kewra water. Alternatively, use rose water.

  7. 7

    Finally, top with more dry fruits and saffron. Serve Sheer Khurma hot or cold.
