Ingredients

5 servings
  1. 500 gmsall purpose flour
  2. 1 tspsalt
  3. 1 tspsugar
  4. 1egg
  5. 4arrow roots
  6. 1/4 tspTumeric
  7. 1/2 tspCinnamon

Cooking Instructions

    Peel and wash your arrow roots.

    Boil water then add in the arrow roots followed by salt then cover till soft boiled.

    Mash the boiled arrow roots. Add in the egg, cinnamon and Tumeric. Mix till smooth.

    Add in the floor and knead to obtain a smooth dough.

    Mould small round dough

    Roll out to a circular shape

    Apply oil.

    Fold in this manner

    Twist it to form layers as follows.

    Then roll out again into a circle

    Heat the pan & place on it each side for 5 secs on medium heat then change and add oil till cooked.

    Serve with your favourite stew and enjoy.
