作り方

Lovely carrots, shallots and potatoes....

Beef mince and mushrooms.

Peel and boil the potatoes.

Chop & fry mushrooms,shallots & black pepper in rapeseed oil

Peel, chop and boil carrots, and boil peas.

Drain the potatoes.

Add Beef OXO x2, Marjoram & Worcestershire Sauce to mushroom

This is Worcestershire Sauce.

Add half the beef mince and stir.

Add the rest of the beef mince and stir.

Potatoes are drained and ready to mash.

Mash!!! ^^

Add milk and butter whilst mashing.

Mix the carrots and peas in a flat dish.

Add the mince mix.

Cover the vegetables with the mince, ready for the potato.

Smooth the mash on top of the mince.

Try to make sure there is enough to cover the whole thing.

Ready for the topping!

Big tomato! This is sometimes called a 'beef tomato'.

Top the pie with tomato slices.

Top with as much cheese as you want.

Grind and add mixed peppercorns.

Cook 14 minutes in a combination oven, 220degrees+ 70%x900w

In a normal oven, it's around 30 minutes at 220 degrees.

My mother made this for someone who doesn't like cooked cheese. For herself, she would add LOTS of cheese topping :)
