Ingredients

  1. 1 1/2 tablespoongalatin
  2. 60 mlcold water
  3. 1 teaspoonglycerine
  4. Glucose syrup
  5. 1 teaspoonflavour
  6. 500 gicing sugar
  7. 2 teaspoonshortening
  8. Food colour (preferably gel)
  9. 1 teaspoonCMC

Cooking Instructions

    Pour cold water in a small bowl.

    Sprinkle gelatin in the water,let it bloom for 5 minutes

  3. 3

    Place the bowl over simmering water stir the mixture until clear.

  4. 4

    Pour in glucose syrup & glycerin and stir

  5. 5

    Add shortening, flavour & colour

  6. 6

    In a large bowl, sieve icing sugar and CMC.

  7. 7

    Add the gelatin mixture to the icing sugar mix with a wooden spoon then knead till it is not sticky and it's pliable.

  8. 8

    Cover with shortening and wrap with a cling wrap and stor in an airtight container.
