Microwave marshmallows in a large bowl in 8-10 sec increments until melted

Add the 2lbs powdered sugar SIFTED... Save a cup of sugar for rolling and kneading

Add shortening (rub some on your hands to prevent marshmallows from sticking to your fingers)

Add water little at a time until doughy.(may use between 3-5 tablespoons of water)

---tip--- if adding color, add before mixing sugar...(for a true red, use a full 1 oz. bottle of McCormick liquid red food color)
