Ingredients

8 people
  1. 1 cupwarm milk
  2. 1large egg
  3. 2 tablespoonssugar
  4. 1 tablespooninstant yeast
  5. 3 cupsAll Purpose flour
  6. 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  7. 2 tablespoonmargarine / butter
  8. Oil for deep frying
  9. 1/2 teaspoonvanilla

Cooking Instructions

    Mix milk, egg,sugar, and yeast.

    Add flour and salt. Then mix and knead. (If too wet add a little flour)

  3. 3

    Knead for at least 5 minutes or so till soft and elastic. (Don't over knead as that will make the dough hard)

    Place and grease the dough with oil in a clean and dry bowl.

  5. 5

    Cover and proof the dough. Leave to sit at room temperature for 1 hour or till it doubles in size.

    After an hour.

    Punch air out of the dough. Then cut into small sizes.

    I had to improvise a tool in order to make holes in the donuts 😂 🤣

    Cover again for about 15 mins.

    Deep fry on low heat.

    Tadaaaaa 😋😋

    For the glaze I melted chocolate,. 🤦🏾 I ran out of sprinkles.

    Enjoy with any beverage of your choice.
