  1. 250 gmsSemolina

  5. 1-2 potato
  6. as required curry leaves

  8. 1/2 tspMustard seeds
  9. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  10. 1/2 tspgreen chillies, finely chopped
  11. 1/2 tsp coriander
  12. 1 cupDal
  13. 1 packetENO
  14. As per tastesalt
  15. As per taste turmeric powder
  16. As per taste red chilli powder
  17. As per tastesambhar masala

Cooking Instructions

    Take semolina in a bowl. Add curd and salt as required. Add eno sachet. Prepare the batter with water. Batter should be of medium consistency.

    Take idli maker. Grease the plates with oil. Put the batter in it.

    Heat the idli container by adding little water in it. Put the plates in it. Cover the lid and keep the container on high flame for about 10 mins.

    Remove the plates after 10 mins. Steamed idlis are ready to eat.

    Boil dal in a cooker. Add tomato and green chilli while boiling. Grind the boiled dal and add water.

    For sambhar: Chop all the veggies. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin and mustard seeds and curry leaves. Add chopped vegetables. Add salt, turmeric, chili powder, and sambhar masala as required. Now add ground dal. Let it boil. Garnish with coriander leaves.

    Idli and sambhar are ready to eat.
