Apple Bread

I fell in love with some cute apple bread that my cooking teacher showed me a picture of. I had a lot of apples and thought my kids would like it so made some apple shaped apple bread.
If you put in custard cream, cream cheese, cheese, caramel, or etc. with the apple you can enjoy a lot of different flavors. Recipe by mi*co
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Slice the apple into 8 parts and then cut each part in half. Put these apple chunks on a plate and sprinkle with the sugar marked with ☆ on the ingredients list then heat in a 600w microwave for 4 minutes. The heating time may vary depending on the size of your apple chunks so adjust accordingly.
- 2
Add the bread flour, cake flour, sugar, skimmed milk powder, salt, yeast and cinnamon to a bread kneader (or bread maker) and add the beaten egg and water mixture a little at a time. Set for 15 minutes and when the dough clumps into a ball, add the shortening.
- 3
Leave to proof for 40 - 50 minutes.
- 4
Once proofed, split the dough into 12. Each piece should weigh around 50 g. Roll into balls and leave to rest for 15 minutes. Make sure they don't dry out.
- 5
Roll the dough out with a rolling pin and place a piece of apple on top. Stretch out and draw up the edges to enclose the apple and pinch the edges together firmly. Place seam-down and roll with your hands to get the ball shape.
- 6
Here I tried adding some cheese along with the apple.
- 7
Place the dough seam-down in aluminium cups or muffin cups.Rub on some bread flour on your index finger and make some dents in the middle of the dough until you can feel the apple. Leave to proof a second time for 30 minutes at 35°C. The photo shows the dough before proving.
- 8
Once proofed, stick a piece of pretzel stick in each dent to make an apple stem and glaze. Bake for 12 minutes in an oven preheated to 180°C. (Our oven is a gas oven, electric ovens tend to be a bit weaker so adjust the baking time as appropriate). The bread will come out more shiny if you use a glaze so I recommend using one.

When it is apple season and there are a lot of apples at the grocery store, I start to crave this bread.Line the pan with parchment paper (to make it easier to remove from the oven).Adjust the amount of sugar added to the apples to your preference. You can also top it with apricot jam mixed with some hot water. It will make the glaze bread, giving it a nice touch. This bread makes a good gift, so I bake it often. Recipe by DUFFYchan cookpad.japan -

I wanted to enjoy Kogyoku apples, which are in season, in a simple way, so I thought up a bread dough recipe that enhances the flavor of the apple.Make sure that the dough bakes into as round a shape as possible. Add the pumpkin seeds where you intend to put the pretzel sticks later on. I definitely recommend fresh tasting green raisins. I used Lys d'Or semi-strong flour. Recipe by Kyoufuko cookpad.japan -

I tried to come up with an original recipe using "Secret Apple Filling". I tried all sorts of complicated recipes, but in the end I settled on this simple bread recipe.Be sure to close the seam tightly in Step 19, or the rolls may burst open when rising. Also, be sure to drain the apple filling well before spreading it on the dough. Recipe by Wagamamahime cookpad.japan -
Apple Bread Pudding Apple Bread Pudding
I wanted to make bread pudding with apples.I used round bread but if you want to use regular white bread, use 2 slices (from 8 slices). Adding grated apple and letting the bread absorb the egg mixture makes it fluffy. Recipe by Himeringo cookpad.japan -
Honey Apple Bread Honey Apple Bread
Our family just loves super soft and slightly sweet bread. So I decided to wrap in some apples and honey.Seal the sides quickly during Step 6 and proceed to the next, since if you take too much time doing so, the honey will start to come out. If the bread doesn't come out easily at Step 10, take it out after inserting a knife between the bread and mold. This bread might also rise quite a bit, so check up on it starting around 15 minutes into baking and place an aluminum foil up top if necessary. Recipe by caramel-cookie cookpad.japan -

I wanted to do something in return for my relatives, so I made these. They have a job that involves driving, so I made bread so that they could snack on it when they got hungry. The bread will rise nicely if you use the milk after warming it up a bit. Set aside a little of the whisked egg and coat the surface of the bread with it before baking. Sprinkle with granulated sugar to make it turn out pretty. Recipe by Nanohana uchan cookpad.japan
