Ingredients

  1. 2 kgwheat flour
  2. 2 tablespoonsalt
  3. 600 mlscooking oil
  4. 1.1 litreswater

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

This time I decided to use hot water.
Put flour in a bowl. Mix with salt

  2. 2

Add hot water to the flour bit by bit and mix using a wooden stick to make your dough.
When the dough start forming you are able to continue using your hand.
Add some little oil and continue kneeding until dough is soft and doesnt stick to your hand.

  3. 3

Cover the dough and let it rest for approximately 45 minutes.

  4. 4

Place the dough on a working space.
Cut it into small equal balls
Using a rolling pin spread each ball into a small circle apply some cooking oil.
Roll it back to a ball
Repeat the process to all balls.
This step helps in giving your chapos layer

  5. 5

Roll the oiled ball to your preferred chapati size
Heat your pan. When ready apply very little oil. Place your chapati on the hot pan.
Dry one side for 30econds. Turn the other side and let it dry for 30 seconds.

  6. 6

Apply oil and cook until ready. Turn to the other side and cook until it is ready.

  7. 7

    Serve hot.
