Ingredients

yields 2 cups
  1. 1/3 cupbutter
  2. 1onion, chopped
  3. 3 clovesgarlic, finelychopped
  4. 4 tbspall-purpose flour
  5. 1 1/2 cupmilk
  6. Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Melt butter in a pot.

  2. 2

    Add flour and whisk till lightly golden

  3. 3

    Add onions and cook till softened

  4. 4

    Add garlic and stir till fragrant 30 seconds

  5. 5

    Add milk and whisk for 5 minutes. Add alittle milk if the mixture is too thick.
