My Bulgogi is really easy to make. Marinated in a flavorful sauce, this rib-eye is quickly cooked to perfection which results in the most tender beef and it's made in the comfort of your own home.

Ingredients

30 minutes
6 people
  1. 3-4 poundsbeef (I use top sirloin or rib-eye) CUT THIN
  2. 2 cupspacked light brown sugar
  3. 5 tbspgrape juice
  4. 3 tbspsesame seed oil
  5. 3green onions chopped, plus ⅓ cup for serving
  6. 3garlic cloves, chopped
  7. 1 tspred pepper flakes or 1 tsp ground black pepper

Cooking Instructions

30 minutes
  1. 1

In a medium bowl marinate the bulgogi. Whisk together the brown sugar, soy sauce, grape juice, sesame seed oil, green onions, garlic and pepper until well combined. Add the beef and makes sure that it's coated really well and drowned in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for 4-5 hours.

  2. 2

In a rice cooker or on the stove make 2 cups of rice.

  3. 3

In a large skillet, place pieces of beef in skillet making sure not to crowed the pan.

  4. 4

Sear the beef on both sides until it hits medium well. Give it 3 minutes and flip. Once your first batch is done, move to a plate and then continue with the remaining beef.

  5. 5

Serve Bulgogi on top of rice. Garnish with green onion and sesame seeds and add some Kimchi on the side.
