Cooking Instructions

Take a pan make sure the pan is not on gas then add milk and milk powder and whisk to make sure there are no lumps in it.

Now place the vessel on cook top and cook on low to medium flame for about 5 minute. Stirring it continuously.

Add the rest of the ingredients. ghee, keser, elaich powder.

Once the mixture is semi-thick add sugar or milk made..let cook until the mixture becomes dough like consistency

Let the mixture cool down.. and then divide it into two parts.

In one part add cocoa powder 1tbs.. and 2 tbsp drinking chocolate powder.... and kneed the dough so that coco powder and drinking chocolate powder mix properly

I have this mold... first grease the mold.. then take a little mixture of mava.. and spread it alongside and stuff it with gulkand or if you like you can add chopped nuts too... in the center.. and close the mold. And when you open.. your modak is perfectly shaped.

Shame process for chocolate modak too. Just grease the mold before doing chocolate modak...if you like you can stuff chocolate chunks in middle. For extra chocolatey.
