Ingredients

  1. 3 numbersPotato large size
  2. 1 teaspoonCumin Seeds
  3. 1 tablespoonRed chilli flakes
  4. 1 teaspoonCurry leaves
  5. 1 teaspoonCoriander leaves
  6. 1/2 tablespoonTurmeric powder
  7. 1 tablespoonCoriander powder
  8. 1 tablespoonRed chilli (optional)
  9. 1 pinchPepper powder
  10. 1 pinchGaram masala powder
  11. optional 1 pinchChaat masala (
  12. 4 tablespoons 4 tablespoonsOil
  13. to tasteSalt

Cooking Instructions

    Boil potatoes, peel off the skin and cut them into cubes (do not overcook them)

  2. 2

    In a pan, heat oil. Add cumin seeds and let them clutter. Add chopped coriander and curry leaves. You can also add them at a later stage for garnishing

  3. 3

    Add the chilly flakes and all the powders and stir well. You may add a few drops of water to mix the masala if they are getting dry

  4. 4

    Add the potatoes to this and mix well.Add salt to taste.You can simmer the heat and close the pan with a lid for a few minutes for the potatoes and masala to blend well

  5. 5

    Garnish with coriander/mint leaves,chaat masala and serve hot
