Ingredients

50 minutes
2 servings
  1. 2large red Sweet potatoes
  2. 2 cupspreboiled Beans
  3. 2 tbspmargarine
  4. 1large onion
  5. 1 cupmilk
  6. salt and pepper
  7. 1 tbspvegetable oil

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Peel, chop and wash the sweet potatoes. Boil them till tender

  2. 2

    In another saucepan, saute the onions then add in the beans and half the milk, cover and let simmer for 2 - 3 minutes. Season.

    Remove from heat then add in the sweet potatoes and mix.

  4. 4

    Mash the sweet potatoes completely, adding in milk little by little till you get your preferred texture. Add in the margarine and mix.

  5. 5

    Serve and enjoy

I prefer just mashing the potatoes and preboiled beans without frying the beans...
