Ingredients

  1. 4Medium sized onion, uniformly sliced
  2. 1/2 cupchickpea flour
  3. 1 tbspcornstarch
  4. 1 tspsalt
  5. 1 tspcoriander seeds
  6. 1 tspfennel seeds
  7. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  8. 1/2 tspcarom seeds
  9. 1/2red chilli powder
  10. 1/2roasted sesame seeds
  11. 3finely chopped green chillies
  12. As requiredSunflower oil for deep frying

Cooking Instructions

    Slice the onions uniformly, not too thin or too thick. Add salt to it and let them rest for 2 hours so that they release their water.

    After 2 hours add coriander seeds, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, carom seeds and red chilli powder, flour and cornstarch to the onion. Mix well.

    When the oil is hot, take a small amount of better spread the pakora in hot oil. Continue to fry until they are golden brown and crisp.

    Now take 2 pav spread green chutney and sweet chutney on it then add onion pakoras serve hot.
