I found a similar recipe on here but it was bland. I left the seasoning recommendations as needed because we all have different preferences. Experiment and enjoy. Grass fed/finished beef and bones plus organic veggies make this a health building meal.

My family used to eat at Shoney's when traveling because there weren't any near our home town and we loved the food. I didn't have much in the house in terms of ingredients. This is what I came up with what I had to hand.

This is a basic vegetable beef soup recipe, but adding a dash of chili flakes to the beef while it browns adds a little kick to it. Big chunks of beef and vegetables makes it as satisfying to the palate as it is filling to the stomach. Enjoy it on a cold day.

Hearty soup ideal for cold winter meals. However, I grew up eating this in the summer with vegetables fresh from the garden. I've eaten many bowls of this soup at my grandmother's table during summer months while barning tobacco.

Everyone in my house was either sick or getting sick. In my culture we use the soup to kill whatever bug is in our system.
