Clean the egg by washing it under tap water. Boil some water in a pan over medium heat. When the water has started boiling, place the washed egg into the pan.

Set your timer to 6 minutes, no more, no less. When 6 minutes is up, take the egg out of the pan and place it in a bowl filled with cold water to ensure that it doesn't cook further. When you cut your egg, you will see that the centre is perfectly soft but not runny.

So sorry for being this late but let me share my first version to cook it😂 The authentic way is to make the dipping sauce from dashi, but this time I made with Mentsuyu sauce which is quicker to cook.
