  1. 250 grStriploin steaks (sirloin, rib-eye are also fine)
  2. 2 tbspVegetable oil
  3. 3cloves Garlic, chopped
  4. 1Onion, sliced
  5. 2Bell pepper, deseeded and cut into bite-size pieces
  6. 2stalks Scallions, sliced
  7. Marinade:
  8. 1/2 tbspSoy sauce
  9. 1/2 tbspShaoxing wine
  10. 1/4 tspBaking soda
  11. 2 tspCornstarch
  12. Stir-fry Sauce:
  13. 1 tbspOyster Sauce
  14. 2 tbspShaoxing wine
  15. 2 tbspSoy sauce
  16. 1/2 tbspDark soy sauce
  17. 2 tspSugar
  18. 3/4 tspGround black pepper
  19. 1 tspWhite vinegar

Cara Membuat

    Slice the steaks against the grain and at on the diagonal to form wide strips that are no more than half a centimetre thick.

    Whisk together the marinade ingredients, then add the beef and mix well with hands to make sure every piecd of beef is coated. Set aside to marinade for 10 minutes.

    Mix all the stir-fry sauce in a small bowl.

    Heat the vegetable oil in a large non-stick frypan over medium heat. Add the garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds or until golden brown.

    Push the garlic to the sides of the frypan and add the beef strips into the centre. Spread the beef out as much as possible and allow to sear for about 2 minutes.

    Before the beef is cooked through, add the onion and bell peppers, stir-fry until the beef is just cooked.

    Add the stir-fry sauce and stir-fry for another 10 seconds or until everything is well coated.

    Turn the heat off and sprinkle the scallions on top of the stir-fry beef.
