Beach Bread Pizza Beach Bread Pizza
This is a work in progress. Nearby Fort Myers Beach restaurants are known for their "beach bread" appetizer. Basically it is blue cheese, fresh chopped tomatoes topped with mozzarella cheese, then baked on a hoagie or sub roll. I've been trying to work on a pizza which incorporates some of the same ingredients but more of a main dish pizza. If you try make this recipe I would love to hear what you think and whether you would make changes for the better, especially if you have sampled beach bread on Fort Myers Beach.
