Ingredients

  1. 2and half cups of all purpose flour
  2. Halfcup of sugar
  3. 2 tablespoonsyeast
  4. 2 tablespoonspowdered milk
  5. Halfspoon of dry pepper(optional)
  6. 2 pinchessalt
  7. Warm water for mixing the dough
  8. Oil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    In a cup, put half cup of warm water and yeast with a table spoon of sugar. Set aside for 8 mins. This aids in activating the yeast

    In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients. That is the flour, remaining sugar, salt and powdered milk.

    Once you mix all dry ingredients, put in the activated yeast which was previously mixed with 2 cups of warm. water. Mix properly until all ingredients are incorporated.

    The consistency shouldn’t be too running or too thick. It should be like the picture below

    Cover with a cling film for about an hour

  6. 6

    After an hour, the batter is set to be fried. Heat your oil in a pan. Drop batter in batches and free in low heat until golden brown.
