Ingredients

  1. To roast and grind
  2. 1 tbspsesame oil (gingelly oil)
  3. 1 tspcumin seeds
  4. 2 tspcoriander seeds
  5. 1/2 tspwhole pepper
  6. 4red chilly
  7. To pressure cook
  8. 2 lbmutton/goat
  9. 2 cupwater
  10. To sauté
  11. 2 tbspsesame oil(gingelly oil)
  12. 2 tspghee
  13. 1 tspfennel seeds
  14. 2cloves
  15. 1cinnamon stick
  16. 2green cardamom
  17. 1 tbspginger garlic paste
  18. 1onion chopped
  19. 1small tomato chopped
  20. Coriander leaves to garnish

Cooking Instructions

    Pressure cook mutton for 5 whistles.

    In a meanwhile Roast and grind all the ingredients in section 1. While grinding add enough water and grind into smooth paste

    Heat a pan with oil and ghee. Add cloves, cinnamon stick, cardamom, fennel seeds. Fry until spluttering. Add in chopped onion. Sauté well. Add in chopped tomato. Sauté well. Add in ground paste. Add water and salt. bring it to boil. Cook until raw smell goes away. Add in cooked mutton pieces and sauté well.

    Garnish with coriander leaves.
