Ingredients

  1. 1 cupchopped pecans
  2. 1 cupdark brown sugar packed
  3. 1 cupbutter, 2 sticks
  4. 1/2 teaspoonkosher salt
  5. 1 teaspoonvanilla extract
  6. 1-1/2 cupNutella
  7. 1/2 cupslivered almond

Cooking Instructions

    Spray a 9x9 inch pan, or something similar, with nonstick spray. Line a pan with parchment paper and spray paper with nonstick spray. Chop the pecans up, and coat the bottom of the parchment paper that is lining the 9 inch pan.

    Melt the butter in a pot add in the sugar and salt. Get the temperature up to 290°-300° Fahrenheit on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.

    Pour over the pecan pieces in pan and allow to cool. When its cool enough to be refrigerated add Nutella, and almonds, cover, and refrigerate for 2 hours.

    Remove the parchment paper from pan with the hardened toffee still on the parchment paper and break up the pieces. Serve I hope you enjoy!!!
