Caramelized Peach Sauce

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 4large Ripe Peaches
  2. 2 tablespoonsbutter
  3. 1/3 cupsugar
  4. 2 tablespoonsbrown sugar
  5. 1/4 teaspooncinnamon
  6. 2 ounceswater
  7. sprinkle of salt

Cooking Instructions

25 minutes
  1. 1

    Blanch peaches in boiling water.

  2. 2

    Shock peaches in ice water. About 1 minute

  3. 3

    Peel the skin off of the peaches.

  4. 4

    Cut wedges around the peaches and take out the pit.

  5. 5

    Large dice the peaches

  6. 6

    Add the Butter, sugar, brown sugar,and cinnamon to the pan and cook for 2 minutes on medium high heat

  7. 7

    Add the peaches and cook until they start to brown.

  8. 8

    Add the water, turn the heat on high and bring to a boil, then turn to a light simmer. Cook to a syrup consistency. About 3-4 minutes or until done.

    Serve warm over whatever you like :)
