  1. Ingredients for chicken marinates
  2. 1,tsp ginger and garlic paste
  3. 1/4 tsptumeric powder
  4. 1 tspgaram masala
  5. 1 tspchilli powder
  6. 1/2 cupYOUGHURT
  7. 1 tsplemon juice
  8. Fried onions
  9. leavesMint
  10. 1 tspcoriander powder
  11. Chicken
  12. Remaining ingredients for cooking rice
  13. sticksCinnamon
  14. 3cardamoms
  15. 4cloves
  16. 2Bay leaves
  17. 1Star anise
  18. Melted butter
  19. 2 cupsbasmatic rice(soaked it in cooled water for 30 min)

Cooking Instructions

    Marinates your chickens with the listed ingredients mentioned as above and leave it for 30 minutes or overnight inside a fridge

    In a pot add1 tsp butter,2 bay leaves,1 star anise,4 cloves,1 cinnamon Sticks,water, soaked rice and perboil the rice for 20 mins

    Then using a strainer,strain the water

    Put the marinated chicken,chopped tomatoes,onion,and pepper paste and some vegetable oil,inside a non stick pot,and cooked for atleast fifteen minutes,then add the 1/3 of perboil rice,fried Onions,scallions,

    Some coriander leaves for the first layer and repeat this process for the remaining rice for the remaining 2 layers

    Then dress the top of your rice with melted tumeric powder and butter and fried onions.

    Then cover it and steam it for 10 more minutes or its well cooked
    And enjoy
